Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora!

Last Saturday we went to the All Blacks rugby game! It was awesome! They played against Wales and we got to hear both national anthems at the beginning. The All Blacks won 46 to 6. At the beginning our team did the Maori haka (a war dance) because they wanted to scare the other team. In the last minute one of the All Blacks players ran almost the entire field with the ball and scored a "try" which is similar to a touchdown. No one could catch him. He ran really fast. There was a city bus that drove us to the rugby game from the downtown Octagon. People who were supporting the Welch team dressed up as daffodils with funny hats that went all the way around their faces. The rest of the people (including us) wore all black shirts and some people wore All Blacks hats. People who were working at the stadium gave us signs and pens. One of the signs said "try time"! My mommy thought that it meant that it was time to try harder. It actually meant "time to score"!
